Black History & Heritage Tour consists of the following parts:

Cape Coast / Elmina
During your visit you will be taken to the last period of our ancestors in Ghana , the moment before they boarded the boat for the miserable crossing to the destination unknown to them.

You experience their captivity in the forts and cellars. You reflect on “THE DOOR OF NO RETURN” and experience the all-defining moment.

Assin Manso
Assin Manso, also called the Slave River, is the place where the enslaved were washed clean and made beautiful for the slave trade. All enslaved people from the wider area of ​​West Africa were collected here for sale to the slave masters.

Osu Castle
This fortress is located in the capital Accra. Osu Castle is a slave fortress built by the Europeans in the Osu district. During this tour you will learn all about the role of the Danes during the slave trade, but you will also see what happened to this fort after the takeover of the Ghanaian government.

Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park
In Accra you can also visit this memorable park. It is a tribute to the first president of Ghana. Kwame Nkrumah was a strong supporter of Pan-Africanism.

In the Kwame NKrumah Memorial Park, the first president of Ghana is buried together with his wife. The museum is located in the park.

This museum gives a good picture of the life history of this great man and the construction of Ghana.

Black Star Square & Black Star Gate
You have probably seen the famous square in Accra in photos. During this tour you will visit Independence Square , where independence from Western colonization is commemorated annually.

After a nice photo moment, you will be challenged by the tour leader to take a climbing tour for a panoramic view at a height of more than 30 meters.

• The WEB Dubois Memorial Center
You will visit the home of Dr. William Edward Burghardt Du Bois. This house is today a memorial center for Pan-African culture, where you can learn about the Pan-African ideologies of the Dr. Du Bois and Dr. Kwame Nkruma.
